Single border permit (NON-Schengen flight)

Applications for the issuance of individual border permits must be sent to the Bavarian Border Police Directorate, primarily by email, with at least 24 hours’ notice.

For flights on the weekend we recommend registering by Friday 10:00 a.m.

For NON-Schengen flight traffic with border permission, i.e. outside the approved border crossing points, a special requirement is required in accordance with Section 61 Paragraph 3 BPolG.

Reasons for the flight(s) (e.g. business flight) Justification why no approved airport can be used as a border crossing.

Costs for issuing a border permit (charged by the border police) The forms for applying for individual border permits available from the Bavarian Border Police must be filled out completely. In particular, the following information must be provided:

Naming of the applicant and availability(s)

Scheduled departure or landing times Justification for operating the flight(s).

Detailed information about the traveling crew members and passengers (surname, first name, date of birth and nationality) as well as the travel documents used (type, number, validity) Customs clearance (NON-EU flight) Entry and exit from or into the customs territory of the European Union (EU) must be reported to the main customs office in Nuremberg.

The flight into or out of Switzerland must be reported to the main customs office in Nuremberg.

The main customs office in Nuremberg must be informed by email at least 24 hours before landing/takeoff.

The customs permit issued by the Main Customs Office in Nuremberg must be presented in writing by email to the air traffic control on duty at Herzogenaurach airfield before landing/takeoff. luftaufsicht@flugplatz-herzogenaurach.de
